Responsibilities
- Verifies routing card information and correlates with castings and the melt numbers.
- Keeps heats (traceability tags) and melt number tags with the castings.
- Washes parts using high pressure water equipment and attachments.
- Ensures quality of castings of different value.
- Ensures cleanliness of equipment and work area being used.
- Ensures keeping parts sorted, identified into correct groups in the department.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respects the Workplace, Health & Safety programs of the company.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to understand activity instructions
- Ability to use measuring instruments
- Ability to handle hoists
- Tolerance to extreme heat
