Our DAWSON CREEK team is looking for a WELDER. This position supports the maintenance and fabrication needs of our highway maintenance fleet and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

☑ Perform welding and fabrication on highway maintenance equipment, trucks, and related components

☑ Repair structural and mechanical components as required

☑ Assist mechanics with equipment repairs and modifications

☑ Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders

☑ Maintain a protected and clean work environment in accordance with company and safety standards

☑ Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality

QUALIFICATIONS

☑ Applicants must have a Welding Certification and a valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license. A B.C. Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement is an asset.

☑ Experience with MIG, stick, and fabrication work





☑ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

☑ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

☑ Mechanical aptitude and experience working with heavy equipment or trucks would be an asset
