We are hiring a Welder Helper to assist our welding and fabrication team with shop and field work. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist welders with welding and fabrication work
- Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Help with grinding, cutting, fitting, and general shop duties
- Assist with field work as required
- Maintain a clean and protected work area
- Follow all company and oilfield safety procedures
- Safely handle and maintain tools and equipment
Requirements
- Valid oilfield safety tickets are required
- Previous experience as a welder helper or in a welding/shop environment is an asset
- Basic knowledge of welding tools and equipment
- Ability to work safely in a shop and field environment
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
