Welder / Fabricator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance work supporting our construction operations and project requirements.

This position is well suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting repairs, and performing both shop and field welding as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding, cutting, fitting, and fabrication on steel components and structures
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and fabrication requirements.
- Perform MIG, stick, and other welding processes as required.
- Fabricate brackets, supports, guards, attachments, and other custom components.
- Inspect completed welds and repairs to ensure quality and structural integrity.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe working condition.




- Follow all company and regulatory health and safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, preferably in construction or a related industry.
- Welding certification or Red Seal certification is an asset
- Strong welding, cutting, fitting, and fabrication skills.
- Ability to work from drawings as well as fabricate and repair components in the field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform demanding work in both shop and outdoor environments.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
