Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Reliability Specialist who is part of the Maintenance department and collaborates with other departments of the mine. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the workplace. Your task will be:
- Optimize and implement preventive maintenance plans;
- Monitor oil samples of the fleet;
- Schedule preventive replacement of benchmarked components;
- Update the prediction report;
- Be responsible of various optimization projects for the Maintenance department;
- Support the Reliability Specialist in different tasks.
What You Need To Succeed
- CurrentlyEnrolled in an undergraduate program in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field;
- Students must be enrolled in their university’s formal Co-op program.
- A strong ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as a member of a team is required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to handle change.
- Demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills including verbal and written as well as presentation skills required.
- Able work outside in the summer and the winter
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and/ or JDE.
- Promote a safety mindset and approach to ensure that all projects and activities carried out comply with safety regulations and AEM standards.
Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
Agnico
Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
