We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WireEDM Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, programming, and operating wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes to produce precision components with exceptional quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write detailed CNC programs for wire EDM machines using CAD/CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production.
- Set up wire EDM machines, including loading tooling, calibrating machines, and verifying machine parameters before production runs.
- Monitor machining processes in real-time, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and maintain tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wire EDM operations, including machine malfunctions or programming errors.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to review drawings,
specifications, and process requirements for complex components.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, machine settings, and process modifications for quality control and repeatability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WireEDM Programmer or in a similar CNC programming role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of wire EDM machinery operation, setup procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming wire EDM machines; experience with software such as Mastercam or similar is preferred.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 – 50.0 per week
