Although responsibilities will vary my role, some common responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate leadership in production, motivating a team of employees and/or contractors.
- Ensure operational efficiency, budgeting, and planning, meeting organizational goals.
- Maintain high safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage and influence others with 5+ years of management experience.
- Present to senior leaders, negotiate, and problem-solve effectively.
- Drive performance and objectives with a results-oriented mindset.
- Lead change and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in forestry.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Undergraduate degree in Forestry, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 5+ years of management experience with a proven track record of influencing others.
- Strong safety leadership skills and a solid understanding of business principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and drive results.
- Agile mindset to navigate and lead change.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for forestry operations.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
