A small but busy licensed café in the village of Merrickville serving lunch only (open from 11-3 weekdays and 11-4 weekends). Everything is made from scratch using local ingredients including fresh bread for sandwiches, scones, soups, and desserts. Different positions are available, and working together as a team is vital.

Job description

Making sandwiches, salads and drinks to order and helping out back of house. Dishwashing, clearing tables. Greeting and seating customers, answering phone inquiries, filling take-out order. Serving food and mixing alcoholic drinks (must have Smart Serve). Food Safety Handling courses and experience with foods beneficial. Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and weekdays. Shifts are usually 10-3:30 or 4:30. Minimum wage to start plus tip sharing. Must work well with others.
