Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Earthworks Supervisor to oversee projects and ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with field experience , with expertise in grade control, blueprint reading and quality control. This role requires excellent leadership skills to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance with OH&S; regulations.

Duties

- Supervise daily operations on the project site, ensuring all tasks are completed on grade , per the schedule and safely.
- Ensure Employees are Completing Sitedoc Safety Paperwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets project standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety standards and compliance with OH&S; regulations.




- Manage project while coordinating with field manager to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Train and mentor team members

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction management or related field with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Knowledge of OH&S; regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Proficiency in project scheduling, Quality Control ,blueprint reading, and construction estimating.
- Experience working in commercial projects is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$44.00 per hour
