Automotive Technician / Engineer for Smart Security System Installation

The Role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join our team in Ontario. You'll become a key expert in the professional installation of our advanced smart security systems – S5 and P8 — across various vehicle makes and models, while also training installer partners and supporting test installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional and precise installation of Gazer's S5 and P8 smart security systems
- Work confidently with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems during integration and diagnostics
- Read and work from wiring diagrams and connection schematics
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle interior trim/panels as needed for clean, professional installs
- Ensure high-quality wiring and integration with existing vehicle electronic systems
- Receive full hands-on training to master Gazer's proprietary technology
- Train installer partners on correct installation procedures and best practices
- Conduct test installations and provide technical support and quality checks on installed units
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician
- Practical understanding of and hands-on experience with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems — non-negotiable
- Experience installing aftermarket security, alarm, or telematics systems
- Comfortable working from wiring/connection diagrams
- Experience disassembling vehicle interiors (panels, trim) for installation work
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic tools
- Ability to learn quickly and work with new AI-integrated technologies
- High attention to detail and a responsible work ethic
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle required — you'll be traveling across the region for installations and partner training; fuel costs covered by the company
- Basic auto electrical hand tools preferred
