Reporting to the Manager - Food & Nutrition Services, you'll prepare both daily meals and specialized therapeutic dishes. Your role is essential in ensuring that all food meets safety standards, while you create an enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Contribute to menu discussions and engage with patrons respectfully.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare regular and therapeutic meals for residents
- Guarantee safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment
- Support the development of standardized recipes
- Provide friendly service to residents and other patrons

Requirements:

- Completion of an Ontario Cook Apprenticeship
- Three years of experience as an Institutional Cook
- Valid food handler training certificate required
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required
