Job Summary The Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) is responsible for leading supply chain execution for assigned programs and serving as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and Program Management. This role ensures alignment of material strategies, supplier performance, cost, schedule, and risk management in support of program and business objectives.

The position also supports the Director of Supply Chain in terms of occasion backup duties.

As a Program Manager-Supply Chain, your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to) Lead supply chain execution for assigned programs in support of cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
Serve as the primary Supply Chain representative to Program teams.
Monitor material status, supplier performance, and supply chain risks affecting program execution.
Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure material readiness and issue resolution.
Support resolution of material shortages, delivery issues, and supplier performance concerns.
Provide supply chain input to program reviews, forecasting, and planning activities.
Analyze material cost, schedule, and performance data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Support material pricing review and approvals, EAC variance analysis, and Contract Review approvals (as it relates to material budgets and lead times).





Notify and seek senior management assistance in resolving schedule and budget problems as they arise.

Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and / or schedules are evident
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Support continuous improvement of supply chain processes and reporting.
What you require to be successful in the role Supply Chain or Business degree may be preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience depending upon the job discipline
5+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, program management, procurement, or related roles
Knowledge of program management tools and procedures

Solid leadership and management skill

Exposure to program lifecycle from development through sustainment to include proposal development, requirements decomposition, generation of system and subsystem statements of work and subcontracts, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts including implementation cost reduction and performance improvement efforts

Exposure to earned value cost accounting and reporting; experience with metrics for assessing and reporting program progress, productivity, and variance analysis
Exposure to finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain management
Solid problem-solving skills
Exposure to managing manpower planning, project reviews, scheduling, and budget control

Ability to manage aerospace / defense programs as a prime or subcontractor to a domestic or foreign military organization

Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting defense or aerospace programs.
Familiarity with EAC processes and variance analysis.




Experience with supplier negotiations, forecasting, and long lead material management.
APICS, CPSM, CPM, PMP, or similar professional certification.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
