Medicine Hat College invites applicants for a full -time , regular instructor for the Power Engineering Technology Diploma Program . Subject to successful completion of a two-year probationary period, this position will be a continuous appointment.

A little about the role:

Responsibilities include preparing for and instructing classes which address all aspects of Power Engineering . The successful candidate will also work as a member of the instructional team in preparing and guiding students through operation of the Cenovus Power Engineering Technology Centre, a state-of-the-art facility at the Medicine Hat campus dedicated to training new Power Engineers.



The successful candidate will also be required to engage in a variety of professional responsibilities within a collaborative environment that fosters the mission of the college and the success of our students. This position requires a passion for, and a commitment to learners, robust interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team .

Details:

- First or Second-Class Power Engineering Certificate of competency valid in the Province of Alberta.
- Diversified background of industrial experience.
- Training or instruction in a classroom setting would be a definite asset.
