The Role

Remote, Contract, 20 to 25 hours per week. Openhouse is a New York-based business working on EST hours.

This seat sits between our factories and our clients. You'll own the path a product takes from PO to delivery, and you'll be the person the sales team comes to when they need a real answer about what's possible. We're looking for someone in the US or EU. You will have a direct report, a Purchasing & Sourcing agent based internationally. You manage the exceptions (solve the problems) when you are pulled in, as needed.

We're looking for someone precise. Details are the job. A wrong date or a stale status in our system becomes a client problem downstream, and we don't let that happen.

Pay Commensurate with experience.

What You'll Own

Supply Chain (5 hrs a week)

- Experience overseeing production or sourcing, ideally in apparel, promotional products, branded merchandise, or custom manufacturing. You will have a purchasing and sourcing agent to work with.

Blanks (5 hrs a week)

- Manage inventory of our in-house line of quality blanks and keep levels accurate
- Own the relationship with our customization factory
- Issue and track customization POs
- Partner with the design team to resolve customization issues.

Customer Service Ticket Closing (10 hrs a week)

- Resolve production-related client issues
- Answer "can we do this" inquiries from the sales team with clear, accurate responses.




- Oversee sourcing work for enterprise accounts
- Talk to enterprise customers as an ops expert as needed

Whom We're Looking For

- Experience in supply chain, production, or sourcing, ideally in apparel, promotional products, branded merchandise, or custom manufacturing
- Comfortable managing a team across time zones with overseas factories
- Organized and systems-minded. You keep records clean without being asked
- Direct communicator. You escalate early and you don't let problems sit
- Solid judgment on what to promise and what to check first

Preferred

- Comfortable managing an international-based purchasing/sourcing team
- Experience with domestic decoration and customization partners
- Familiarity with ERP or order management systems
