HR & Perks Administrator

Location: Mississauga, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, fully onsite
Contract: 2 months, with potential for extension
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for an HR & Benefits Administrator to support the HR team on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on benefits experience who is comfortable assisting employees, managing HR requests, and working with HR systems.

Responsibilities

- Manage day‑to‑day employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, RRSP/DPSP, and EFAP.

- Process benefit changes, enrolments, terminations, and annual renewals.

- Respond to employee and manager questions related to benefits and HR programs.

- Monitor and respond to requests through the HR shared inbox.

- Work with benefits providers and external partners to resolve issues.

- Support WSIB, Workers’ Compensation, and disability‑related administration.

- Maintain accurate employee information and benefits records.





- Assist with payroll‑related benefits reporting and reconciliations.

- Update employee information in the HRIS system and support the Award recognition platform.

- Provide general HR administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

- 2-3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits administration.

- Experience handling employee HR and benefits inquiries.

- Experience with HRIS and HR support systems.

- Knowledge of WSIB, disability management, or Workers’ Compensation is an asset.

- Exposure to Canadian HR practices and legislation is an asset.

- Experience with Avanti is an asset.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.

- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.

- Available to start ASAP and comfortable working 5 days onsite in Missisauga
