Matrix is urgently hiring Journeyman Millwrights for a remote mining project in Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. Earn up to $800 daily with charter flights from Edmonton and a 28/14 rotation schedule.
As a Millwright, you will play a vital role in installing, assembling, and commissioning conveyor systems and apron feeders. Your expertise in conveyor and apron feeder operations ensures safety and efficiency in a remote mining environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to safety and the necessary trade certification.
Key Responsibilities: • Install and assemble conveyor systems and apron feeders • Commission machinery for safe and productive operation • Work closely with other trades to maintain systems • Enforce safety protocols while working on-site • Complete required documentation for installations
Requirements: • Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright certification • Experience with conveyor and apron feeder installations • Familiarity with components and accessories used • Strong safety awareness in industrial contexts • Ability to work in remote locations
