Cavendish Farms seeks a Seasonal Forklift Operator for a short period of 3-4 weeks, working 10-14 hours per day. The start date is planned for mid-September, subject to weather conditions.As a key member of the Farm Team, you'll safely operate forklifts and ensure the efficient handling of materials. Regular maintenance and inspection of machinery are essential duties, and the role includes a performance bonus up to $2.5 per hour. You'll also work to maintain a protected environment at our Chapman Settlement facility.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate the forklift during your shiftsConduct machinery inspections and maintenanceMove pallets and boxes in confined spacesAdhere to all safety protocols and environmental standardsAssist in maintaining an orderly facilityRequirements:Forklift operation experience; license is a plusMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsAvailable for extended work hours, evenings, and weekendsSelf-motivated and able to work in a teamStrong attention to detail and multitasking skillsYour role will be vital in ensuring operational efficiency and safety at Cavendish Farms.
