Join the City of Guelph as a part-time Recreation Youth Program Facilitator. Help foster an inclusive workplace by leading fun activities for youth ages 12-17 at local facilities.
We are looking for five dedicated individuals to take on the role within our Recreation Services. You will design, implement, and facilitate programs that range from sports to cooking classes. This position is vital in helping build connections and empowering youth in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging programs for youth participants
• Ensure a safe and inclusive program atmosphere
• Develop weekly activities tailored for different skill levels
• Maintain program supplies and facilities
• Provide first aid and document incidents as needed
Requirements:
• Proven experience with youth programming
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Certified in Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
• Safe Food Handling Certificate required for cooking classes
• Police Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
