Empower youth as an After-School Program Instructor with the Beyond the Bell program at YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford. You will oversee safe, enriching programming for children in grades 1-5, focused on their educational and emotional growth.
In this part time role, you will collaborate with fellow staff to create impactful and individualized programming. Responsibilities include delivering structured activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining an organized supply inventory, all while ensuring adherence to YMCA standards. Flexibility and a commitment to fostering community are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs for children
• Create and implement child-focused activity plans




• Document weekly activities and daily participant interactions
• Provide homework support for those in need
• Maintain supplies and ensure compliance with organization standards
Requirements:
• Six months of direct experience working with children
• Enrollment in a relevant educational program preferred
• Robust problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid CPR-C and First Aid certification required
• Commitment to working with diverse populations
