As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and managing CNC Mills or Turning Centers, interpreting engineering specifications, and producing high-precision components. With a focus on quality and efficiency, you'll modify programs as needed and assist in training other operators. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is also a key part of this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate CNC Mills and Turning machines • Interpret and apply engineering drawings • Maintain tooling and fixture alignment • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines • Assist in the training of CNC set-up operators
Requirements: • Minimum 2 years technical training and 5 years of experience • Solid understanding of GD&T; and tolerances • Familiarity with G-code programming • Knowledge of precision component manufacturing • Experience in operating manual lathes and mills
