If you're passionate about mechanics and eager to contribute to meaningful projects while growing your career within a supportive and safety-focused team, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesDisassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, breaks, clutches, differentials, hydraulics,



electrical systems and lubrication systemsInspect and test to detect faults and malfunctions in drill units, diesel compressors, hydraulic support equipment, high pressure water pumpsDiagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair requiredPerform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnosticsContributing to the development of apprentices and working as part of a team to accomplish maintenance goals and targets.Service attachments and working toolsVerify and repair emission control systemsProfessional Experience / Qualifications5 + years of experience with industrial heavy equipment including hydraulic equipment, diesel engines and compressors, high-pressure water pumps, drill units, diesel trucks, crawlers, and pumpsAbility to diligently organize work, make decisions, and set prioritiesValid driver's licensePrevious experience working on drilling equipment is an asset.Robust interpersonal skillsSchedule: Monday to Friday with possibility for overtime.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Must be a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyman).Interprovincial trade qualifications in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics (Red Seal Certification) preferred.Compensation$42 to $49/hr based on experience
