Job DescriptionLandSea provides accommodation and catering solutions for workforces in remote locations throughout BC. We believe in and strive towards, "creating good places for people to live. Learn more about us on our website atAbout Working in Remote CampsOur camps are located in remote areas and staff live on-site on scheduled shifts and leave camp on scheduled breaks.Most of our LandSea camps offer individual staff accommodation, ensuite or shared bathroom, full meals, WIFI and some have health/gym facilities for staff.Camp staff work long hours and multiple days in a row. A typical workday is between 10-12 hours (day or night shift) and overtime rates apply.Health and Safety and a Respectful Workplace are essential for everyone working together at LandSea. Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces and require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.The Relief Camp Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall organization, housekeeping and efficient operation of LandSea camp facilities.About the Job, Benefits and PerksTemporary postion: October 16 to December 10, 2026Wages starting between $22.57 to $25.65 per hourOvertime payRotation: 4 weeks on and 2 weeks offInbound and Outbound travel paidHealth and Wellness Benefits program available for full-time staffMeals and accommodation while working on sitePartial uniform is providedFootwear allowance may be availableCompany and team building eventsOpportunities for career development such as continuous training and possible mentorship programsCamp LocationThis camp is remote and located approximately 5 hours north of Terrace, BC. Our team organizes all logistics and travel for employees to get to and from camp.#ACAN150Job ResponsibilitiesManage daily camp operations and ensure smooth service delivery.Oversee camp start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, and facility management.Monitor inventory, purchasing, receiving, and supply levels.Ensure camp occupancy records and staffing levels are accurate.AdministrationComplete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reportsManage timesheets, incident reports, performance reviews, and employee recordsTrack budgets, camp expenses, purchasing, and inventory controlsMaintain accurate operational and financial documentationStaff LeadershipSupervise housekeeping, kitchen, catering,



and maintenance teamsTrain, coach, and support camp employeesConduct performance evaluations and address workplace issuesPromote teamwork and a respectful workplace cultureHealth & SafetyEnsure compliance with company safety policies and government regulationsConduct safety meetings and maintain safety recordsInvestigate incidents and complete required documentationEnsure food handling and sanitation standards are followedGuest ServicesCheck inbound and outbound guest lists for room changeover. Report changes and cleaned itemsEnsure accommodations, laundry facilities, and common areas meet company standardsRespond to client and guest concerns promptlyDeliver high-quality customer service in a remote camp environmentThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).QualificationsMinimum 4 years' experience in a related field of work; preferably a camp accomodation and catering environment3 or more years' experience in a managerial roleCompletion of basic First Aid, basic and advanced Food Safe training, WHMIS, HCCAP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Travel Restraint, Transport of Dangerous Goods, Accident Investigation, and Health and Safety TrainingKnowledge of Camp Manager Database programs and retail Point of Sale systemsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong decision making and delegation skillsStrong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and WordSuperior organization and time management skillsTeam player and can provide support,
