Our client, a respected and growing construction company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex mid-rise and multi-family residential construction projects in the Calgary market.This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional with solid wood-frame and low- to mid-rise experience who thrives in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment. The organization values leadership, accountability, and strong team culture, and is looking for someone who can independently lead projects while contributing to the continued growth and operational success of the business.Compensation: $140,000 – $180,000+ depending on experienceRole SummaryThe Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multi-family and mid-rise construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This individual will manage schedules, budgets, consultants, subtrades, client relationships, and internal project teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and on budget.The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and provide leadership across all phases of construction.Core ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ExecutionLead full-cycle construction management of mid-rise and multi-family residential projectsOversee all project phases including:Pre-construction planningBudgeting and cost controlScheduling and procurementConstruction executionProject closeout and turnoverManage project financial performance including forecasting, change orders, cost tracking, and reportingEnsure adherence to schedules, contract requirements, and quality standardsIdentify and proactively mitigate project risks, delays, and cost impactsCoordinate closely with site superintendents, consultants, ownership groups, and subcontractorsConstruction & Operational OversightProvide leadership to project teams and support field operationsDrive accountability across trades, consultants,



and project stakeholdersReview and manage construction schedules and sequencingSupport procurement and subcontractor management processesMaintain strong project documentation and reporting through Procore or similar systemsClient & Consultant ManagementAct as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, municipalities, and project stakeholdersMaintain strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycleLead project meetings and provide clear communication regarding project status, risks, schedules, and budgetsManage challenging conversations professionally and proactivelyLeadership & CultureContribute to a collaborative and solutions-focused team cultureMentor project coordinators and junior project management staff where applicableSupport continuous improvement of project management systems and operational processesKey CompetenciesTechnicalStrong experience in wood-frame low-rise and mid-rise residential constructionDeep understanding of construction sequencing and schedulingExperience managing projects in the $10M–$60M+ rangeStrong knowledge of CCDC contracts and construction documentationProficiency with Procore and construction financial reportingOperationalHighly organized and detail-orientedStrong leadership and decision-making capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsProactive problem-solving approachInterpersonalStrong communicator with high emotional intelligenceAbility to build trust with clients, consultants, and project teamsProfessional, calm, and solutions-oriented under pressureExperience Requirements8–15+ years of construction project management experienceStrong background in low-rise and mid-rise multi-family residential projectsExperience managing wood-frame construction projectsProven success delivering projects on time and on budgetExperience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholdersSuccess MetricsProjects delivered safely, on time, and on budgetStrong financial performance and margin protectionHigh-quality project execution with minimal deficienciesStrong client and consultant relationshipsEffective leadership and mentorship of project teamsOrganized and predictable project delivery
