Store Assistant Manager/Keyholder – Your role involves supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching and guiding team members, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Support daily store operations by scheduling, assigning, and following up on employee tasks.
- Recruit, select, orient, and train team members to maintain a strong and capable staff.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees, providing feedback and guidance to help them reach their full potential and address performance issues.
- Assist in achieving financial objectives by preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, analyzing variances, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a welcoming store environment.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives by analyzing promotions, display plans, and operating/financial reports to maximize profitability.
- Ensure the store is safe, clean, and compliant with all company policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor loss prevention and shrink programs to protect company assets.

Qualifications and Skills





- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of management experience in a specialty retail environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and building high‑performing teams.
- Customer service‑oriented, with in‑depth knowledge of retail operations and business management processes.
- Expertise in shrink reduction, expense control, merchandising strategies, brand differentiation, and partnership development.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for board games, puzzles, and pop culture, with a drive to achieve sales goals.
- Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring employees.
- Self‑motivated, energetic, and results‑driven.

Pay Rate

$18 – $19 per hour
