Support the culinary team as a Dietary Aide at Extendicare’s Bayview Home, located in Toronto, ON. Play a pivotal role in meal service and preparation.
You'll be responsible for serving food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks. Your adherence to dietary protocols and safety standards will be crucial in providing fulfilling experiences for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food while observing serving temperatures and preferences
• Assist in preparing and cleaning food items
• Operate dishwashers and maintain cleanliness of equipment
• Follow storage and labeling guidelines for food
• Participate in kitchen meetings and in-service education
Requirements:
• Completion/enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program
• Must possess a current Food Handler's Certificate
• Relevant dietary experience preferred
• Capacity to lift moderate to heavy items
• Flexibility for wide-ranging work hours including weekends
