Bridgwater Montessori Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a preschool Montessori setting and must possess Preschool Montessori Training from an accredited training center.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a prepared environment that supports children’s developmental needs.
- Conduct student observations and assessments.
- Model positive guidance techniques and strong classroom management
- Communicate effectively with parents, administrators and coworkers.
- Model and train team members on best practices and the Montessori pedagogy.
- Support team members and provide feedback to foster their growth.
- Implement the Montessori curriculum and prepare materials
- Maintain accurate documentation (attendance, developmental checklists, and daily logs) to support ongoing assessment.
- Create individualized student lesson plans and annual progress reports.
- Supervise and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students.
- Ensure the classroom environment remains sanitary and safe, adhering to MELCC standards.

Qualifications

- Casa Montessori training from an accredited program.
- Dual Montessori training will also be considered and viewed as an asset.

- Minimum 1 years of teaching experience in a Montessori preschool workplace.
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR.




- Ability to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check in the province of Manitoba.
- Ability to obtain a transparent Child Abuse Registry Check in the province of Manitoba.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively within our team.
- Ability to lift and carry children as needed.
