Dishwasher / Prep Cook, Forest Park Hotel

Seasonal full‑time position for Spring/Summer 2026 at the Forest Park Hotel under the Pursuit Collection brand.

Starting wage: $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage all dishwashing needs including sorting, pre‑washing, providing pre‑soak solution and bins, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and proper storage of flatware, glassware, plateware, kitchen utensils, and cooking ware.
- Clean kitchen equipment such as sinks, stoves, fridges, and other utensils.
- Ensure all floors remain clean and dry at all times.
- Remove garbage and recycling to appropriate bins when needed.
- Unload produce, food, and other items and carry them to proper storage areas as assigned.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- During non‑dishwashing duty periods, support the line cook team with food prep or line production as required.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset.
- Mature, energetic, dependable, and self‑motivated.
- High attention to detail and an enthusiasm for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to handle stress professionally.
- Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong sense of teamwork and positive demeanor.
- Commitment to follow all safety standards, practices,



and requirements.
- Ability to react quickly and efficiently with flexibility.
- Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working on feet for extended periods, in indoor and outdoor environments, and be prepared for all weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail).
