Responsibilities

- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Offer medication reminders and support with appointments
- Help clients with grooming and bathing
- Assist with toileting and managing incontinence care
- Support individuals living with Alzheimer's disease

Previous experience is an asset, but not required. Full skills training and ongoing education will be provided by Mimakcare.

Requirements

- Demonstrate the ability to treat clients and their property with respect, dignity, and compassion
- Communicate in a friendly, patient, and professional manner
- Successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Provide two skilled and two personal references
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are recommended (not mandatory)
- Submit a drivers abstract (if applicable)
- Have access to a computer and cell phone
