Qualifications:

· Two years of related experience working as a designer in the house structure field.

· Advanced proficiency in using CAD software: including AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect.

· Have the ability to develop and prepare layout drawings for house renovation or addition and other types of projects.

· Be familiar with residential/commercial building codes, building materials, and so on.

· Work on multiple and diverse projects and be able to prioritize workload accordingly.

· Excellent attention to detail, Ability to work independently, effective and effective delivery of the task.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and prepare engineering design and drawing using CAD tools.

· Design within project schedules and budgets; check own works for errors, omission, and legibility.





· Prepare drawings and documents required for a building permit.

· Communicate with the client directly about details, etc.

· Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies

· Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload

· Collect and provide proper site measurement and information, on-site verification of layout drawing as required.

Required Education:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from University in building structural Engineering program or Small House design from George Brown /Seneca are also welcomed
