Position Overview

As a valuable member of Real Sports, you will be responsible for the delivery of winning food & beverage service to our guests.

Specific Duties

- Welcome guests in a skilled and friendly manner, displaying welcoming body language and creating a positive first impression.
- Ensure all menus are clean and tidy before the start of each shift.
- Review reservations; update and maintain guest profiles.
- Present and maintain menus.
- Work with the Service Manager to prepare and organize seating plans.
- Seat guests according to the seating plan.
- Communicate any special requests to the team.
- Create a lasting impression by personalizing your farewells.
- Maximize the capacity of the dining room by assisting with table re-setting and other duties as the need arises.
- Assist bussers, servers, bartenders, and managers as needed.
- Support with any duties necessary in times of need as requested by managers.
- Knowledge of our food and beverage offerings including product allergies.
- Complete washroom checks.
- Adhere to MLSE Service Standards and Policies.
- Follow all MLSE Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Requirements





- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be Smart Serve Certified.
- 2+ years of hosting position experience preferred.
- Previous experience in high-volume restaurants preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation Range

$17.94
