Join Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp), the premiere online learning platform that connects K‑12 students in the US, Canada, and across Asia with tutors from the top US and Canadian universities to provide personalized lessons. As a tutor for Cosmo 1:1, you will have a versatile and consistent schedule that you set. We teach math, ELA, and SAT classes and provide Cosmo‑created learning plans for our tutors to use.

This is the perfect opportunity for experienced educators to connect with students in an after‑school setting. You will meet with your students at a set time each week for 50‑minute, one‑on‑one lessons. As a Cosmo 1:1 tutor you will build a welcoming and fun learning environment for your students and help them grow. It is important for our teachers to be reliable role models, arriving prepared, on time, with a passionate and kind demeanor.

The base rate for this position is $20 CAD plus additional incentives and bonuses.

- Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students
- Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
- Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability
- Submit class feedback after each lesson
- Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
- Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
- Communicate with Cosmo staff




- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep
- Experience with K‑12 ELA/Math standards
- Teaching license preferred but not required
- Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of ارنpurity 6000
- Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
- Available between 6‑9 AM EST or 3‑10 PM EST on Monday through Friday or during weekends
- Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis
- Access to a private and quiet location
- Passion for helping students learn
- Currently located in CK or Canada
- Approachable: builds rapport and makes students feel comfortable in online classroom environment
- Patient: takes time to ensure students understand material at an appropriate pace
- Adaptive: tailors lesson and environment to each student’s needs and learning capabilities
- Considerate: demonstrates emotional intelligence and builds students’ confidence
- Enthusiastic: passionate about education and has contagious energy for a fun environment
- Reliable: comes to class on time, prepared, and ready to meet students’ needs
