About the Role

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries and financial statements, and managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest level of accuracy while collaborating closely with internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expenses
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end closing
- Support payroll processing and tax-related filings as required
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal team members regarding financial matters




- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and records

Must-Have Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Robust understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing daily transactions and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must be located within commutable distance to Calgary, Alberta

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel
- Experience with Canadian accounting standards and compliance
- Familiarity with GST/HST, payroll deductions, and year-end processes

Work Location

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Calgary, Alberta. Candidates must be located within commutable distance.
