As a skilled Lifeguard and Swim Instructor, you will create a secure, engaging workplace where participants can thrive. This position focuses on delivering high-quality swim lessons tailored to all ages, enabling people to reach their swimming potential. You will also maintain necessary safety protocols and be proactive in ensuring that the aquatic area remains safe and welcoming for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engaging swim instruction in a safe manner
• Monitor swimmers and enforce all safety protocols
• Maintain detailed records of participant progress




• Address concerns from participants and parents effectively
• Conduct safety audits and facility checks regularly
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 16, National Lifeguard certification required
• Valid Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C certification
• YMCA Swim Instructor qualification or similar
• Well-developed communication and teaching skills
• Ability to maintain a positive environment for learners
