Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time Clerk (15-24 hours/week) at our Food Store location in Marcelin, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Serve guests, stock products, and face shelves.
- Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
- Maintain a clean store by tidying shelves, bins, and displays, promptly addressing spills and breakages, and keeping aisles free of debris.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and other electronic devices to process sales.
- Maintain a safe environment while adhering to company policies,



procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items, such as wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

Who You Are

- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.
- Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Attentive to detail with strong cash management skills.
- Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
- Able to obtain WHMIS and Serve It Right certifications.
- Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
- Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
