This role is accountable for ensuring the protected,efficient, and compliant operation of the mill, including grain andingredient receiving, feed production, inventory management,shipping, quality control, maintenance coordination, and staffsupervision. The Mill Manager is expected toprovide strong day-to-day leadership to a growing and relativelynew team by setting clear expectations, building accountability,and fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and operationaldiscipline. A key focus of this role is to strengthen teamcapability through coaching, mentoring, and training, while alsoidentifying and developing future leaders within theoperation.This position plays a criticalrole in maintaining a world-class site by ensuring high standardsin safety, housekeeping, maintenance, and employee engagement.



TheMill Manager must also bring a strong maintenance mindset to theoperation, helping transition the site toward a more planned andscheduled maintenance approach that improves equipment reliability,reduces downtime, and supports long-term operationalsuccess. Responsibilities:Lead the overall performanceof the mill to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operationsacross all areas of the site.Supervise, coach, and supportmill staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuousimprovement.Build team capability bymentoring employees, strengthening performance, and developingfuture leaders.Oversee grain receiving,batching, pelleting, mash production, loadout, and shipping toensure product is manufactured and delivered according tospecifications and timelines.Coordinate productionschedules, staffing requirements, and deliveries to meetdemands.Ensure compliance with allsafety requirements, Feed Assure standards, and companypolicies.Drive improvement inmaintenance execution by supporting more structured preventive andscheduled maintenance practices.Maintain the cleanliness,condition, and operational readiness of the mill, yard, vehicles,and equipment.Oversee feed quality andinventory control,



including monthly inventory counts andingredient management.Coordinate grain andingredient procurement and scheduling to ensure consistent supplyand uninterrupted production.Develop, maintain, and improvepreventive programs, procedures, and systems that supportoperational performance.Build and maintain strongworking relationships with farmers, suppliers, and internalstakeholders.Support employee retention andengagement by providing consistent leadership in a demanding,high-volume workplace.Complete all requiredadministrative duties, reporting, and documentation in support ofmill operations.Carry out other duties asrequired.
