Step into a pivotal Librarian role at Amii, blending expertise in knowledge governance and research mobilization in Edmonton, Alberta. Support AI education initiatives while safeguarding intellectual property assets.
The Librarian serves a dual function in this critical position, acting as a Reference Librarian to enhance content discoverability for the Training Team, and as a Records Librarian governing the organization's Intellectual Property (IP) and archival standards. This role ensures that Amii's AI research and materials are compliant, well-structured, and protected, thus enabling the organization’s mission of 'AI for positive and for all.'
Key Responsibilities:
• Design centralized taxonomies for AI training assets • Conduct audits of Learning Management Systems to reduce knowledge silos • Create automated tagging workflows linking modules to research • Manage the Amii IP Register and documentation of copyright • Ensure long-term preservation of legal records and agreements
Requirements: • Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) required • 3+ years in corporate library or knowledge management • Experience with copyright and licensing management • Proficiency with Digital Asset Management systems • Strong understanding of Canadian IP law
