Tagapan family is looking for a full‑time loving, caring and responsible caregiver for their 6‑year‑old child. The caregiver will work at their residence located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Job Designation: Child Caregiver

Language Preference: English

Education: Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent. Course in Child Care will be an asset.

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada V5R 4Z5

Wage: C$20.50/hr for 40 hours/week

Experience: Will train

Job Duties

- Monitor child’s activities and provide supervision during play, homework and other activities.
- Help child develop valuable personal hygiene habits.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of the child at all times.
- Encourage educational activities and provide learning opportunities.
- Offer emotional support and comfort to the child.




- Encourage physical activities, playtime and creative pursuits.
- Assist with routine tasks such as brushing teeth, getting dressed and having meals.
- Provide regular updates to the parents about the child’s activities, behavior and any concerns.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying the play area and doing child laundry.
- Take child to and from school and appointments.

No smoking is allowed in or around our house; a strictly non‑smoking person is required.

Wages & Benefits

- Full‑time and permanent position, 40 hours per week.
- Vacation pay of 4% of wages per year.
