Part time English Teacher

Location: 13025 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, ON (Oxford Learning Richmond Hill – Oak Ridges)

Employment Type: Part Time | Pay: $18.50 to $20.00 per hour | Schedule: After‑school and evening weekdays (3:30 pm–8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:30 am–2:00 pm)

Responsibilities

- Teach up to three students at a time at different levels, following Oxford Learning methodologies
- Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
- Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

Qualifications

- University students considered; teaching certification an asset
- Good knowledge of current curriculum
- Some experience teaching or tutoring is preferred
- Strong English written and oral communication skills; ability to guide students' understanding
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students simultaneously




- Must be able to commute to the Richmond Hill location and be a resident within a short commute
- Vulnerable sector screening mandatory
