Become an essential part of our Environmental Services as an Aide focusing on housekeeping and laundry duties. You will directly contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment for all residents and staff.
Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, your role includes performing housekeeping and laundry services following stringent infection control standards. It requires excellent communication, dexterity, and organizational skills to ensure efficient operations. You’ll also be adaptable to new techniques and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean designated areas in line with cleaning schedules
• Collect, process, and distribute laundry and linens
• Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness before shift end




• Assist in training recent Environmental Services staff
• Participate in departmental audits and quality control
Requirements:
• Grade 9 education or equivalent
• Demonstrated dexterity and efficient work methods
• Strong organizational and independent working skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Respect for confidentiality and cultural diversity
