Contribute to student safety as a Lunch and Bus Ground Supervisor at the Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE) in Nova Scotia. Ensure student supervision before school, during lunch, and after school each day.
This role focuses on supervising students during critical times throughout the day. You will supervise the boarding and disembarking of students from buses and report any issues to the principal. Ideal candidates will possess the experience and skills needed for effective student support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students before, during, and after school
• Oversee lunch breaks and noon hour activities
• Assist students boarding and disembarking buses
• Report any incidents during supervision times
• Perform other related supervisory duties
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with children or youth
• Compliance with SRCE policies and procedures
