The Maverick Volleyball Club seeks experienced and team-oriented coaches for the upcoming 2026/2027 season. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position requires delivering individualized coaching and assisting with game strategies. Candidates should have a coaching or competitive athlete background for this enriching prospect in Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored feedback to athletes in practice
• Assist in running practices, games, and tournaments
• Engage in personal development as a coach
• Conduct tasks such as tracking statistics and video recording
Requirements:
• Competitive-level athlete experience or 1 year of coaching
• Extensive knowledge of volleyball concepts and gameplay
• Acquainted with Maverick Volleyball's competitive scene
• Excellent communication skills
• Completion of NCCP Foundations of Volleyball E-learning module
