Oxford Learning Brossard (Brossard, Quebec) is recruiting a part‑time French & Math teacher‑tutor .

High School French & Math Teacher/Tutor Wanted

This role supports students from Grades 3 to 11 in mathematics and French. The position is in‑person and requires the ability to commute to Brossard. Vulnerable‑sector screening is mandatory.

Position Requirements

- Applicant must reside on the South Shore of Montreal or within a short commute of Brossard.
- Must be able to commute to Brossard; the role is not online and relocation packages are not available.
- Vulnerable‑sector screening required.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- CEGEP (year 2 or higher).
- Fourth‑year university students in Quebec with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
- Teaching certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of Grades 3–11 math and science curriculum, including Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Experience

- Experience teaching or tutoring French to students Grades 3–11 (or equivalent).
- Experience and knowledge of Secondary 3, 4, 5 math and science.




- Solid English and French written and oral communication skills.
- Strong math skills and ability to guide student understanding.
- Ability to multitask and manage up to three students simultaneously.

Responsibilities

- Teach up to three students at a time at different levels.
- Deliver lessons in‑person and, when required, online.
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
- Complete post‑lesson notes.
- Provide daily student communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Salary : $18.00 per hour
