We are currently seeking applicants for a Behaviour Support Worker position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Supervise and ensure the safety of the children at all times
- Lead structured, age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Provide extra support for children, as needed
- Engagement in social activities

Qualifications and Skills

- Patience and temperament to work with children on various developmental levels
- A valid Non-Violence Crisis Intervention Training Certificate is required
- Experience with Autism
- Experience tutoring or helping children with school work is an asset
- Experience working with children in a group home, school camp settings
- Experience working with special needs children
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record




- Canada work authorization
- Transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors (Within 6 months)
- Clear Child Intervention Record Check(Within 6 months)
- First Aid and CPR level C required
- Reliable Vehicle
- 2 million liability Insurance required

Availability of days, evenings and weekends is mandatory.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Grande Prairie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
