As part of Spencer Engineering, you will report to the Supervisor of Mine Hoist Mechanical Engineering Services. This role requires solid mechanical design and analysis skills, alongside a passion for solving complex engineering challenges. While previous mine hoist experience is not required, you will work with a dedicated team to design and certify vital mine systems across North America.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare and verify complex technical calculations • Conduct site visits and provide remedial recommendations • Manage client communications and proposals • Lead small project teams and ensure quality delivery • Engage in continuous professional development

Requirements: • 4+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience • Degree in Mechanical Engineering required • Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) or equivalent • Familiarity with Autodesk and Microsoft Office tools • Strong analytical and project management skills
