Position Summary:

We are looking for compassionate and flexible Direct support workers to support adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in a Group Home setting. This role is ideal for individuals seeking part-time or on-call work, with shifts that may include mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

You will assist residents with day-to-day living, encourage independence, and support community inclusion in a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily routines including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support residents in participating in recreational, social, and community activities.
- Promote independence and life skills development.




- Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the team.
- Respond to emergency or crisis situations as needed.

Qualifications:

- Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in a human services field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset.

Other Requirements:

- Valid Saskatchewan drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

Additional Information:

- This is a casual/on-call position with no guaranteed hours; flexibility is essential.
- Shifts are assigned based on availability and staffing needs.
- A supportive team environment and on-the-job training are provided.

Positions: 6 Union positions

Shift Type: Casual | 8-Hour Shifts (Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends)

Salary: As per Collective Agreement
