Job Description Irving Tissue is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Operations Team Leader to join our team in Saint John, NB. This role offers a unique blend of frontline leadership, hands‑on operations, and strategic involvement.

Responsibilities

Lead a crew of 12 operators on two tissue machines.

Promote and enforce safety, housekeeping, production, and quality standards.

Facilitate daily troubleshooting and problem-solving with operating teams.

Manage crew performance and support employee development.

Work a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts.





Participate in strategic initiatives

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or a completed 2-year (minimum) post-secondary program in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

3–5 years of experience in pulp & paper or other industrial environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

A desire to lead and develop people.

Commitment to growing your leadership and technical capabilities.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a rapid‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
