Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a General Kitchen Help to join our dynamic team. This position is a contract role . You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to participate in food preparation for our consumers.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Responds to customers’ requests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Suggests products, combos or sizes appropriately
- Resolves customer concerns and complaints in a friendly manner
- Communicates showcase needs to the baker and helps merchandise the product
- Keeps the front counter clean, organized and stocked
- Follows Tim Hortons, Subway and Sodexo standards and guidelines when preparing product for customers
- Prepares coffee,



beverages and food according to Tims’, Subway and Sodexo standards
- Records temperatures of food and equipment as required
- Completes audits and checklists as required
- Completes training modules online as required
- Participates in regular safety training, meetings and hazard assessments
- Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures

Qualifications

You are an experienced Kitchen General Helper who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.

Qualifications include (but are not limited to):

- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
- Must possess sufficient practical experience to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Physically fit to perform all aspects of the job.
- Fully vaccinated according to hospital requirements.
- Must pass a criminal reference check.
- Tim Horton’s experience is an asset.
