As a Custodian at RainCity Housing, you’ll perform vital janitorial and maintenance tasks for our supported housing facility. Your responsibilities include cleaning, repairs, and basic security duties under the guidance of the Operations Manager. This role is key to maintaining the well-being of residents and preparing rooms for new tenants while promoting a healthy living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform basic janitorial duties, including cleaning and disinfecting
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures




• Assist in preparing rooms for tenant occupancy
• Patrol and ensure facility security throughout the shift
• Collaborate with staff to support community initiatives
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion required
• First Aid and Building Service Worker Certificates needed
• Minimum 1 year of related experience
• Effective communication skills required
• Must have the physical ability to perform duties
