Become an integral part of the Child Development Institute (CDI) as an Early Childhood Assistant at our Early Learning Centre. This daytime, on-site supply position focuses on enriching children's lives through thoughtful engagement.
In this role, you will assist the RECE with program activities, ensuring every child thrives in a nurturing and safe environment. Flexibility is key, as you’ll support various age groups and adapt to changing schedules based on Centre needs. This position emphasizes effective communication with families and attention to children's developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise children and maintain a positive workplace
• Assist in daily routines and educational programming




• Document children's behaviors for developmental tracking
• Foster strong relationships with families and peers
• Organize classroom materials and equipment
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Assistant certification or relevant experience
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate and clean background check
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Ability to accommodate diverse backgrounds
• Flexible availability for various shifts
