As a Waste Barge Deckhand, you'll be integral to our operations, handling key tasks in mooring, maintenance, and waste loading/unloading. This role demands teamwork and adaptability while adhering to relevant safety regulations. Your schedule will consist of a 7 days on/7 days off rotation, providing a reliable work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in mooring and unmooring operations
• Support planned maintenance activities onboard
• Help load and unload waste on the River Tees
• Conduct Health, Safety, and Environmental checks
• Operate under the guidance of the Coxswain
Requirements:
• Valid ML5 or ENG1 Medical Certificate
• Right to Work in the UK
• Commutable distance to Tees Port
• Willingness for additional training
• Full UK driving licence
